While at the recent Techcrunch50, I saw a demo a new company, Searchme, that presented search results in a different and intuitive way.
Essentially, they bring back screen shots of sites that have the word or phrase that you are looking for highlighted on the page. You can scroll through the pages and then click into the page once you have found the one that matched what you are looking for. See screenshot below:
Searchme and others like Viewzi get it. People are inundated with the many text results that come back with Google. These companies also have a really easy to use front end for the iPhone.
